The company sells its own storage systems on Supermicro, DELL, etc. It releases the Truenas core software for community development, which can be used for free. For its own systems, it uses a higher version (created by community development) of the SW that enables Hyper-converged and clustered storage. Our team is building custom storage on the same HW, using the Truenas Core version. We provide support under service contracts.
Product of the Dutch company Deciso. Originally created as a student project. Deciso builds firewalls on its own HW. An advanced firewall whose development is supported by a large community of developers from all over the world. C SYSTEM arranged in 2019 to rebrand this software under its own brand MEDUSA Firewall. We build mostly on HW Supermicro backbone firewalls, smaller branch firewalls on HW industrial mini PCs. We provide support under service contracts.
Virtualization from Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH Austria. The basis is KVM Virtualization (RedHat). Virtualization enables the conservative model and the Hyper-converged model (Ceph). More than 15,000 customers pay for commercial support. Proxmox enables classic virtualization (image), container virtualization LXC, Docker support, etc. Own backup server. Broad community support. We replace customer solutions by building on VmWare and Hyper-V. Can also run a version without paid support.
